Enterprise Welcome Center and Little Red Schoolhouse is operated by the Pea River Historical Society, the welcome center features a replica of an early 19th-century log home. On-site guides answer questions and give tours of the schoolhouse, a replica of a one-room school complete with desks, chalkboards, schoolbooks, a pot-bellied stove and other nostalgic reminders of rural American schools. Both the welcome center and nearby Little Red Schoolhouse are easily accessible from the highway, and are excellent places to get information about historic Enterprise.
Enterprise Welcome Center and Little Red Schoolhouse is the perfect place to become acquainted with the city of Enterprise and the surrounding area. Its volunteers offer local maps, telephone directories, and other information. The rustic building reflects the architectural heritage of the Pea River Region. In addition, the Little Red School House on the grounds of the Welcome Center gives visitors an impression of educational opportunities in the early twentieth century
