The mission of the Texas Mead Association is to promote mead, (honeywine), in the state of Texas. The TMA seeks to:
- facilitate collaboration and cooperation among commercial mead-makers
- support best-practices and continuing education
- engage in events to promote the status of honeywine and its member manufacturers
