The Company is based in Lambertville, NJ; strategically placed, Roxey Ballet's operations are located 45 minutes to Philadephia and 1 hour to NYC, along the country side of beautiful Bucks and Hunterdon Counties.
Roxey Ballet performs cutting edge contemporary ballet to critical acclaim throughout the United States. Collaborating with noted composers, musicians, and visual artists, Mark Roxey creates original works that stretch and renew the traditions of classical ballet and put a new face on the stereotypical ballet performance. Roxey Ballet has been honored with the New Jersey Governor's Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts, and in recognition of its extraordinary vision for the art of dance.
The company delivers unpredictable programs that are sublime, athletic,elegant and filled with fresh vibrations of line, life and pure beauty. Roxey Ballet is ballet for the people. Formed yet formless, dramatic and moving, Roxey Ballet delivers Razor Sharp Dance Performances in Styles from A-Z. Roxey Ballet's works commonly are referred to as "Ballet for the People." People who normally have never been to the ballet or thought ballet wasn't for them love Roxey Ballet's unique approach to the art of dance.

The Roxey Ballet Company is a non-profit organization incorporated in New Jersey in 1995. Its mission is to deliver artistic and cultural excellence. It is an all-inclusive organization, fostering a creative environment of growth for artists of all levels. Its unique and diverse works, taking traditions to the next level, strive to inspire audiences and artists alike. The Roxey Ballet seeks to preserve and advance the fine art of dance for generations to come by serving all populations. Roxey Ballet's programs are funded in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/ Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, The Wachovia Foundation, and The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
