The coolest skate park in Valencia County is in Los Lunas, located in Heritage Park. The park features 15,000 sq ft of skateable area. All of the modern structures to grind, scoot and ride are at the park. The park is designed for BMX bikes, skate boards and in-line skates. This is a "high end" park and helmets are mandated if you are under the age of 18 and recommended for all others. Additional safety equipment is also encouraged.
Construction started in April 2000 with Phase One, since then there has been three more phases with a total cost of construction of $150,000 dollars. The parks and recreation department are working on Phase Five which will include more skating area, shade structures and landscape, and sitting areas.
Admission is free.

The Heritage Park Skate Park is a skate at your own risk facility. Please know your ability and skate accordingly.
Wearing a helmet is mandated if you are under the age of 18. Other protective gear is strongly recommended, including: knee pads, elbow pads, wrist and ankle protection.
Skating on wet surfaces is not allowed
Public installed portable skate features are not allowed and will be confiscated by property managers.
The use of alcohol is strictly prohibited at all times.
