Hastings Community Theatre, located at Good Samaritan Village, is an all volunteer organization dedicated to producing four or five live shows each season--and giving local and area people an opportunity to have experiences in live-on-stage- theatre.
While the theatre actually dates back to1927, HCT is counting from an important revival date, 1959, and is celebrating 50 years of continuous operation.
Through these many years, dedicated volunteers can be credited with keeping this theatre going and in the black ! To be especially noted are: Ethel Hide, Frank and Charlotte White, Don Mathews, and Millard Cates, who persisted, pursued, acted, directed and kept us solvent.
