Original buildings from the frontier villages of North Dakota have been moved to this site and filled with antiques and artifacts that bring the world of the prairie pioneers to life. The Frontier Village site features:

- Kirkpatrick Art Gallery featuring wares of local artists

- Louis L'Amour writer's shack dedicated to this beloved western author

- Northern Pacific Railroad Depot, the first railroad depot in Jamestown (1880). It was in use until 1965, when it was moved to the Frontier Village

- Gift shops featuring North Dakota products and handmade goods from local artisans

- Stagecoach and pony rides (Memorial Day through Labor Day - weather permitting)
