The Delhi Park Skate Plaza opened on April 21, 2007. The grand opening brought approximately 500 people from the greater Cincinnati area to see professionals try out the new park.
The Plaza was designed by a variety of local skaters and BMX riders along with Nick Accruso from Anonymous Skate Shop. The design concept was to take the many street elements that the kids skate daily in the business district and incorporate them in a park setting to provide a safe environment for these kids to participate in their sport. The plaza design accommodates skate boards, BMX bikes, and roller blades.
