About Us
Founded in 1968, the Cloverdale Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to local historical preservation and education. It is funded solely by activities sponsored by the Society, its members and its patrons. The Society meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the United Church, 439 North Cloverdale Boulevard at 7:00 PM. Guests are welcome. The research office is open by appointment. Docents are in the museum on Wednesdays through Sundays during summer hours and Fridays through Sundays during winter hours.
The life of the Historical Society is dependent solely on memberships, donations, and fund-raising activities. One major event sponsored by the Historical Society is the Annual Fiddle Contest, which draws visitors to Cloverdale from all over the world. The Fiddle Contest takes place in late January.
