Byron Days Festival (and the parade) is one of the longest-running family festivals in the state. The festival has built momentum for 86 years due to signature events:
Festival Parade-The parade today is very similar to the parade 86 years ago. The difference today is we have more students walking in the school marching band and different candy is thrown into the crowds.
Fireworks-The Saturday night fireworks presentation has become a favorite in the community. This year, the fireworks will be at Bicentennial Park where the majority of the Festival will happen.
