Bear Branch Park is located adjacent to The Woodlands Recreation Center. Bear Branch Park is both a dog friendly park and a wheel friendly park. Public water sources are available and are BYOD (bring your own dish) for our canine friends. Bear Branch Park also has a pool.
The Bear Branch Dog Friendly area is 2+ very shady acres, and it is separated into two sections, one for large dogs, and a second area for small dogs.
The Woodlands Community Association approved a new design-build plan for the community-wide skate facility in late 2009 which will includes rails, ramps, a planter, benches and a fire hydrant to mimic a street setting. Bear Branch is the largest skate park in The Woodlands and is designed for intermediate to advanced skaters. The facility already includes in-ground concrete bowls and above ground concrete plazas. Bear Branch Sports Park is directly across (south) Research Forest Drive and features an 18 hole Frisbee Golf Course.
