Hours:Â Year Round
John Tyler Wines produce Pinot Noir and Zinfandel from their world class vineyards with the direction and winemaking skills of Tyler Heck. John Tyler is the combination of two world class wine making and grape growing families. The brand is named after vineyard manager John Bacigalupi and his nephew Tyler Heck, grandson of Korbel Champagne Cellars co-founder Paul Heck. The Bacigalupi's have been growing grapes in Russian River Valley since 1956. These grapes have gone into some A-list wines, including most notably chardonnay for Chateau Montelena's winning entry in the famed 1973 Paris Tasting. Combining excellent quality grapes with Tyler's unique wine making techniques John Tyler creates old world style wines with incredible age ability.
Mission:
The mission at John Tyler Wines is to continue the heritage of both the Heck and Bacigalupi families. The families have helped the California wine industry become what it is today. With more than 100 years of combined experiance in the wine industry John Tyler Wines as a product will continue this great legacy by producing unforgettable wines.
