Scheduled Activities
Unless otherwise noted, all ranger talks will begin at the Tours Start Here sign at the entrance to the pony pasture, at the top of the Junior Ranger Loop. Wagon rides and park shuttle will stop at this location.
Guided Hikes - All Day
Special guests include University of Vermont's Walter Poleman and Vital Communities.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm: Live Music from John McClintock
Bring a picnic, blanket, or chairs, and enjoy live music in the pony pasture.
12:30 pm to 2:30 pm: Mansion Open House
A ranger will be stationed outside the Mansion providing introductory talks and assigning entry times. There will also be a ranger inside to answer questions. Visitors enter through the front of the home and exit through the back into the garden. Six people may enter the home at a time. No reservations are required, but we recommend arriving early to secure your spot.
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm: Live Music from Ali T

Visit the Junior Ranger Hub and learn about the forest cycle from Park Rangers.
Outreach Tables - Pony Pasture
Learn from local community organizers about local forest practices, including the White River Conservation District, USDA Natural Resources Conservation District, Vital Communities, and Billings Farm & Museum.
