Septet performs out of doors on a stage set on top of a trailerMass-Conn-Fusion, with possibly the coolest band name ever, opens the 2024 Keeney Koolers Concert Series. After a stellar Keeney Koolers’debut in 2022, and a killer follow-up performance on last year’s PorchFest, Wethersfield Historical Society is thrilled to welcome Mass-Conn-Fusion back to the showmobile stage. Founded by bassist James Healy at the UCONN music department, Mass-Conn-Fusion draws its talent from both sides of the Massachusetts-Connecticut border. The band’s extensive repertoire has something for everyone, featuring Motown, R&B, and Funk along with hits of the 60's through the present. The full ensemble features female lead vocalists, horns, and a solid rhythm section guaranteed to get you up on your feet.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, food and beverages, and don’t forget your dancing shoes. Come early and stake out your space on the lawn in front of the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street, Wethersfield) for a great time. Concerts take place outdoors on the showmobile stage and thanks to the generosity of three private donors.  admission is free. In the event of inclement weather, concerts move indoors to the Ballroom at the Keeney.
