Join us as we honor those who have served and continue to serve our nation.
St. Mark's United Methodist Church warmly invites all veterans, active-duty service members, their families, and the public to attend a heartfelt Veterans Gratitude Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 10. This event is dedicated to honoring and paying tribute to veterans and their families from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force, Coast Guard, and Air Force.
The event will feature a performance by the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band, Raptor. Master of Ceremonies is Colonel Gerald D. Meyer, and the keynote address will be delivered by Major General Daryl L. Bohac. A reception will follow from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.
All veterans and active-duty service members are encouraged to wear their uniforms, hats, or colors—something that signifies their branch of service—and to sit with their families in the section designated for their branch.
This event is free and open to the public; however, pre-registration is required.
