The Science Museum Oklahoma
2100 NorhEast 52nd Street

Science Museum Oklahoma's 6th annual Tinkerfest will be on Saturday.

Tinkerfest is a daylong celebration of curiosity and creativity. Free to the community, thanks to our sponsors such as Oklahoma EPSCoR, this event gives individuals the opportunity to get hands-on experience learning how things work. In the past tinkering activities have included disassembling cars, creating music, book binding, ukulele music, and robotics. With the help of more than 35 community partners, previous years' Tinkerfests have seen more than 60 different activities to enjoy in addition to the museum's permanent exhibits! You'll find something for every age and ability at Tinkerfest.

Tinkering is a valuable form of learning powered by exploration and discovery. Have you ever repaired something that was broken, Toyed with a recipe, Taken something apart just to see what was inside.

That's tinkering:
Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to get hands-on with a variety of activities from using raw materials and tools to create unique machines to art exploration to numerous crafting and building options.
