About Jocelyn Pleasant:

Jocelyn Pleasant is a drummer, percussionist, educator, and bandleader currently based in Middletown, CT. Her performance credits are extensive, showcasing her versatility and dedication to performing a broad range of music from Africa and its Diaspora. Her award-winning ensemble, The Lost Tribe, combines West African rhythms and songs with jazz, funk, hip hop, and other genres. Jocelyn will be joined by The Lost Tribe’s Douglas Wilson (guitar) and Matt Belliveau (guitar).
