The Black and White Ball

Friday, Sep 27, 2024 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm
Acworth Community Center
4361 Cherokee Street

In 1966, the famous novel “In Cold Blood” was written by Truman Capote. He finally had the finances to host a party worthy of his celebrity friends. His “BLACK and WHITE BALL” was proclaimed the greatest party in American history. Come join us at Acworth’s own “BLACK and WHITE BALL”, a masquerade party, as we step back in time to the sights and sounds of Acworth in the 1960s and 70s with DJ music, dancing, a cash bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. There will be a lot of fun memorabilia from the era on display as well.

THIS IS NOT A FORMAL EVENT. It's a fun event where ANY black and white attire and a mask will do. This is a fundraising event to support the Save Acworth History Foundation, a non-profit organization. Your support is sincerely appreciated. Online ticket purchasing will be announced soon.
