Stay Gold is a free intergenerational LGBTQIA+ arts program for youth and adults ages 13 and up. This session, “Future Guests”, invites participants to experiment with a variety of art practices, including photography, poetry, walks, and more. Participants will engage with art making and concepts to address current environmental challenges from a perspective of empowerment and solidarity. The title of this workshop is from artist and poet CA Conrad’s poem, Acclimating to Discomfort of the System Breaking Beneath Us, who will be leading a special workshop for Stay Gold on September 17.
In support of our commitment to intergenerational learning, individuals of all generations, including youth 13 – 18, adults over 55, and everyone in-between are encouraged to participate. Please email Interim Education Coordinator Mariel Miranda at mariel@moca-tucson.org if you have any issues with registration.
Cost: Free
Ages: Youth and adults (ages 13+)
Generous funding for this program is provided by The LGBTQ+ Institute at The University of Arizona.
