Pacific Northwest Opera Presents Dvorak's "Rusalka"

"Rusalka" is based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid". Disney adapted and changed the original story to have a happy ending unlike the original. Although mostly known by American audiences as the composer of the stirring "New World Symphony", Antonin Dvorak was a prolific composer of opera and "Rusalka" is among the most frequently performed operas around the world.
