October Open Mic Coffee House Night  (New!)
Get ready for a howling good time as we bring back our very popular Open Mic Night. This time the night will take on a Halloween twist! The Senior Center will be transformed into a Halloween Scene and decorated up for a night of night of fun!  Calling all poets, singers, magical acts, actors, writers, photographers and artists of all kind!  Join the Suffield Parks and Recreation Department, Suffield Youth Services and the Senior Center at our new Halloween themed open mic and coffee house night. The event will be held at the Suffield Senior Center's decorated Lounge area that was funded by the Suffield Rotary and Knights of Columbus. Now is your chance to share your work with the community in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are looking for all kinds of talent to present at this super fun night or just come out and join the audience to support local artists. (Time limit for all performances will be five minutes. The theme is Fall/Halloween related for the evening. This is a family friendly inclusive environment. All talent must keep material family friendly.)
A selection of coffee, tea, apple cider, cocoa and specialty/gourmet desserts will be available. Donations to the Parks and Recreation Department are kindly accepted.
