Celebrating 77 Years of Persimmon Traditions
The Mitchell Persimmon Festival began in 1947 when Mitchell native, George Bishop dreamed of creating an event to bring together the small community.

Enter your sweet baby in the baby contest! Groups 0-3 months, 4-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-23 months, and 2-3 years., $5 contest fee. $2 admission fee.
