Darien Declaration Day Ceremony July 4th 2024
A twenty-five minute ceremony will include selected readings from the Declaration of Independence, recognition of Darien students currently attending military academies, university ROTC programs and active duty along with patriotic music.
The ceremony will begin at 9.30 am in the Darien High School Courtyard, immediately preceding the Push-n-Pull Parade sponsored by the Darien VFW which steps off from DHS at 10.30 am.
The Declaration Day Ceremony is organized by Darien Monuments and Ceremonies Commission. Seating will be provided. All are welcome!
