2024 is a big year for the Cumberland Homesteads. It marks the 90 year anniversary of the establishment of the community itself. The Homesteads is Tennessee's largest historic district and is a major part of our county's history. Plus, this year we are hosting our 20th Annual Homesteads Apple Festival! This beloved event is attended by over 10,000 people each year and is the only fundraising event for the Cumberland Homesteads Tower Association. The CHTA is a non-profit organization that relies on the Apple Festival to ensure both museums are kept open to the public, staffed and maintained.
$5 admission gets you access all weekend, kids 10 and under are free and free parking! Crafters, antiques, local artists and authors, petting zoo, live music, tons of food and a new "old-fashioned fun" kids zone this year! And of course plenty of apple-themed food and drinks!
3rd Annual Homesteads Apple Festival Pageant will be held on Saturday from 9am-noon (registration not open yet).
