Harbes Farm And Vineyard Watermelon Harvest Festival

Cap off your summer during the sweetest harvest on Long Island! Join us for Harbes Annual Watermelon Festival. There will be plenty of watermelon to snack on and lots of fun, too!

Don't miss our Watermelon Eating Contests! They will be held in the Barnyard Adventure at 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. First come, first served. Participation limited. Must purchase Barnyard admission to participate.

There'll be FREE LIVE MUSIC in our courtyard/picnic area both days from 1-5 pm. Sunday, singer/guitarist Matt Taylor will be performing. Enjoy this versatile musical performer.

While you're here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! Harbes Barnyard Adventure is an 8-acre, family-friendly experience for all ages. The Barnyard admission includes a Musical Hayride tour of our 100-acre farm and our famous pig races. There are also farm animals, our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, “Lil' Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, obstacle course, hedge maze, our musical animatronic chicken show, and much more. We'll also be debuting some exciting new attractions for 2023!

Harbes Wine Barn, located behind the main farmstand, is a wine lover's dream! In our 100-year-old renovated potato barn, we offer tastings of our award-winning wines and wine by the glass or bottle. There's a rustic ambiance inside or you can enjoy your wine outside under an umbrella on our patio.

You won't want to miss any of our delicious foods during your visit! You'll particularly love our mouthwatering selection of homemade ice cream – including watermelon. There will also be delicious tomato/mozzarella paninis, Harbes own roasted corn, additional treats, and maybe some other watermelon surprises!
