2024 is our 25th Anniversary!

Each year on the first weekend in October, Visit Freeport brings together over 225 of the best New England artists, makers and local food producers for a three-day festival on the L.L.Bean campus, in the Mallard Parking Lot behind the Freeport Historical Society, on the lawn at 135 Main St, Freeport Town Hall, and in Freeport Village Station in Freeport, Maine.

All Weekend:

Visit Freeport’s Bubble Machines. - L.L.Bean Discovery Park Stage

Kids are invited to go on a magical quest. Hosted by Kids Arcanum. - Booth 4 & 5, L.L.Bean

Stop by and learn about healthy eating habits at their make your own trail mix station. Plus, face-painting! Hosted by Taro Health. - Booth 68, L.L.Bean

Kids are invited to stop to meet the artist behind Waiting for Halloween for a trick and a treat while supplies last. - Booth 115, L.L.Bean

The first 100 kids to visit 569 Woodworking will be surprised with a free handmade toy animal from owner Bruce and Laura McEwan. Booth 167 & 168, Mallard Parking Lot

Kids are invited to play with Legos and play PLINKO for a chance to take home a toy! Hosted by Renewal by Andersen. - Booth 173, Mallard Parking Lot

Kids can make their own gem tree to take home. Hosted by Wolf Willow Trees. - Booth 212 & 213, 135 Main St

Katie Coppens, author of The Acadia Files, will help kids with a hands-on science activity at her booth! - Booth 223 & 224, Town Hall

Live blacksmithing demonstrations with artist Nick Rossi. - Booth 249 & 250, Town Hall

Mallard Stage Schedule:

10AM - 10:45AM: Jack Fossett. Award-winning, independent guitarist, singer and songwriter who takes an Americana approach to blues and rock with hints of folk, roots and jazz.

11:15AM - 12PM: John Sayles. Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer.

12:30PM - 1:15PM: Wes Covey.Fingerpicking folksinger.

1:45PM - 3:45PM: Matt Nasi. Blend of Pop/Folk/Soul.

4:15PM - 6PM: Paddy Mills. Award-winning folk singer/songwriter whose songs are as salty as the Maine coast he calls home.

Discovery Park Stage Schedule:

10AM - 11:15AM: Pretty Girls Sing Soprano. They will sing to your soul and leave you with a smile as they perform a variety of songs from bluegrass, folk, traditional to country and rock-n-roll.  

11:45AM - 1PM: Pejepscot Station. Traditional and contemporary bluegrass.

1:30PM - 2:45PM: Charlotte Morris. Nashville-based singer-songwriter, whose autobiographical music weaves together a unique blend of Americana, Folk, Jazz, and more.

3:15PM - 4:30PM: Troy Hudson & The High Road. Original Americana Rock.

5PM - 6PM: Bank Mules. Buoyant live string band show!

Kid’s Activities:

10AM - 6PM: Kids are invited to design and color a wearable paper Atlantic Salmon hat! Hosted by Maine Maritime Museum.  - L.L.Bean Booth 69

10AM - 6PM: Local artists will work with kids to create a fun take home art piece. Hosted by Meetinghouse Arts.  - Booth 184, Mallard Parking Lot

10AM - 2PM: Create an oyster shell ornament with Freeport Community Services!  - L.L.Bean Booth 70

11AM - 5PM: Face Painting with Party Palooga - Booth 161, Mallard Parking Lot

11AM - 5PM: Kids are invited to get a glitter tattoo to show their sparkle. Hosted by Party Palooga and Five County Credit Union. - Booth 191, Mallard Parking Lot   

2PM - 6PM: Create a calm down glitter jar! Hosted by State of Maine - Office of MaineCare Services - L.L.Bean Booth 7
