Exhibition - I Dream in Color Except When I Don't

Every piece that John Craig creates from a place he can’t describe, usually in a burst of chaotic, directionless energy that he tries to bring into some kind of focus. He generally use putty knives and spray cans and try to keep it more or less under control, the memories of dreams that he struggles to recall before they slip away (where do dreams go?). If you need a label you can call them abstract expressionism, but to him they are - like fireflies in a jar - elusive, fluttering dreamscapes captured in transit!
