Exhibition - Good Trouble Quilts: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Congressman John Lewis

The Regional Arts Center is open to the public. Like all of TRAHC’s visual art exhibits, is FREE to the public. School and civic group tours are available upon request.

Sponsored by the TRAHC African American Committee (TAAC), Good Trouble Quilts: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Congressman John Lewis is an exhibition of 35 original quilted artworks that center around the work and impact of the Congressman. This exhibition was developed by The Atlanta Quilt Festival, Inc. and will conclude the trilogy which has centered on Congressman John Lewis’s legacy. Texarkana is the exhibit’s final stop before the works are returned to the artists. TAAC has also partnered with The Quilting Sisters of Color (Dallas), The Pleasant Hill Quilting Guild (Linden), and the TAAC Quilting Group (Texarkana) to feature supplementary fiber artworks in the exhibit.
